The Story
Formed in Kuching, Sarawak. HEY! LEAVE A MESSAGE band consisting a broad music palette. Employing a versatile blend of alt-rock, emo punk, and post-grunge.
The band comprised of Charmine Michelle (vocals), Bryan Isaiah (lead guitar), Terence Clinton (lead guitar), Eugene Joel (rhythm guitar cum mixing engineer), Nicodemus Jeffry (bass) and Nathan Alan (drum). The band was heavily influenced by Paramore, My Chemical Romance and Muse but broadened overtime to incorporate alt-rock music.
Hey! Leave A Message was created in 2022 when Charmine Michelle and Terence Clinton decided to create a band soon after in February 2023 came along Nathan Alan and Bryan Isaiah and formed the band through a discord video call. Few months later, Eugene and Nick joined after a jam session.
In 2024 HEY! LEAVE A MESSAGE, released new single titled Mad World on January.
Starting Out
Starting out, in a small town called Kuching. Shared a deep passion for music, we spent countless hours jamming in our jamming studio, dreaming of one day sharing our music with the world. Inspired by our favourite bands, we decided to start our own.
The audience was captivated by our unique sound, a blend of alt-rock and emo punk influences.
Word of the performance spread, and soon we were receiving invitations to play at other small venues in other neighboring towns. We traveled together, our beat-up bus filled with instruments and dreams, ready to share our music with anyone willing to listen.
Looking to the Future
As we gradually release our single, we knew that our wish might not be realised overnight. But we remained hopeful, knowing that music had the power to plant seeds of change in people's hearts and minds. In support of our new single! Our set list will prominently feature the new stuff.
